From the Smoosh Room to the Playpen?

If you had not heard the news..... Snooki is Pregnant, that's right Nicole Polizzi aka Snooki is preggers. Let me first start off by saying congratulations to the parents of the child, I wish them a happy and healthy child. Now onto the article.

Let me be honest when I say this article will be mostly opinion based with a few facts and figures thrown in the mix(as I find them).

My first question is What more can Jersey Shore cast do? I have watched most of the episode and to be honest they have done everything from travel to foreign countries to having pink eye and even starting a prank war(which was won by Pauly D and Vinnny). I just can think of anymore damage that can be done. Can Snooki go back to jail? No. Can Ronny and Sammy argue anymore? Possibly, but come on do we really want to see more arguments over the same thing. The Situation has seemed to have turned over a new leaf. One thing I would like answered in this next season is did, Snooki and Mike really hook up. Then, again who cares if they hooked up anyways the past is the past we are on to the present.

The truth is Jersey Shore has got to be one of the most controversial shows that has ever premiered on T.V. M.T.V was smart when they took the pitch for this show but personally this show does nothing but distract you, from living your life(while coincidentally you sit back and watch other people live their lives,irony???).

Jersey Shore Facts

Did you know that the cast of Jersey Shore was paid 30,000 dollars an episode for season 3.

Season 4 the cast up the ante and demanded a raise bumping the measly 30,000 dollars an episode to a whooping 100,000 dollars!

Abercrombie and Fitch offered to pay The Situation not to wear their clothing. I guess they were afraid that the brand's image would be tarnished by the Situations antics.

I can not call myself a Jersey Shore "fan" because even though I have watched the episode, I watched with a critical eye hoping to see some positive message or some knowledge passed. Truth be told, they promote the party life because their young(I have no problem with that),my issue is the teenagers that are being influenced by their show. I see it all the time teenagers thinking like Snooki or J-Wow, wanting to be like Sammy or have the Situations abs. Everyone is trying to be like them and not living and loving their own lives. I can not blame the Jersey Shore cast for the decisions of other people, but I will say they are not influencing them to be themselves or do better.
